It’s been a busy last few weeks.  We’ve sold out on some items, Gunnera, Romneya, and Crocosmia ‘Bright Eyes’ among others.  The lemons need to grow some and should be ready June-July.  We Should have some one gallon Gunnera by mid-June. Looking good for this weeks is Salvia ‘Wendy’s Wish’, Lobelia ‘Elm Fire’ and ‘Complement Deep Red’.  The Achillea “Strawberry Seduction” and Saucy Seduction” are starting to look nice.  Our Monarda Pink Lace, Jacob Cline, Coral Reef, Grand Parade, and Fire Ball all look real nice.

Well….. back to my well deserved milk bone.

Well it’s a New Year and the start of another season.  Here at the Carter’s we’ve already sold out of our 1 gal. Hamamelis.  Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come for the season.  We still have a lot of the Corylopsis and it is such a beautiful plant in the garden.

I am having to fetch little white balls all over the nursery.  It seems the owner inherited a set of golf clubs and is now using the nursery as a driving range.  I’ll be posting more blogs this year so keep checking back.

It’s been a busy week with Carter’s Nursery, what with the holiday, winter weather and all.  Just finished covering up for the arctic weather!  Jeshua and I also have been working on our website, loading up photos to our gallery and making other improvements.  It’s still under construction but is getting better every day.  Well, this is Pearl wishing you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It’s been a busy time at the Carters.  Looks like the landscapers want to get everything planted before the Fall rains.  Take a look at our 4″ Evergreen Ferns - they look nice & full and are great for Christmas planters & baskets.
